The divine mystery flows through every moment of our lives. It whispers in the quiet spaces between our thoughts. It animates each breath we take, opening our hearts and enlivening our world. It births within us, in the very womb of our human forms. If we pay attention, we will know we are the vessels of a love much larger than ourselves. This divine force, this sacred presence, is always with us, but we often forget. We close ourselves off, caught in the illusion of separation, believing ourselves apart from the vastness of the cosmos. In that belief, we suffer.
What if we embraced the mystery instead of denying it? What if we dissolved our need for certainty and accepted the constancy of change and the impermanence of things? What if we allowed the flow of divine love to move through us? The truth is, we are one with it. We always have been.
The human form is a conduit, a conduit for the divine. When we step into that knowing, when we surrender to the unfolding mystery, we stop feeling alone. We stop feeling like fragments of something scattered in a world that does not understand. We realize that the separation we feel is only an illusion, created by resistance.
In embracing the mystery, we experience ourselves whole again, wrapped in the love that surrounds us. We see that our pain, our longing, our fear, all stem from the places where we have forgotten this oneness. We see that love is not a distant goal to be chased, but a presence to be recognized. The divine is not separate from us; it is within us. It is us.
When we open ourselves to the mystery of life, to the flow of love, we no longer live as individuals in isolation. We are part of the great womb of existence, interwoven with all that is. In that space, there is no room for individual suffering, because there is no separation. There is only oneness, only love.
It is love that holds the mystery. It is love that binds us together, allowing us to experience the sacred in the mundane and making the impossible possible. When we let go of the need to understand everything, we step into a deeper understanding of the world. The knowledge that love, in all its mystery, is the answer to everything.
A little practice
I remind myself many times a day to embrace the divine mystery. What does this look like, you ask? Each experience is a little different because each time the universe provides a different mystery, a different uncertainty, for me to embrace. Sometimes I name it anxiousness. Sometimes I name it bliss. At all times, I name it divine. I invite you now to embrace the divine mystery as it presents itself this moment. Observe how the mystery is manifesting in your mind and body. Together, now, across time and space, we can embrace the mystery and dissolve our illusion of separation. In doing so, perhaps we will remember that we are not alone. Perhaps we will remember we are one. Perhaps in the oneness, we will remember we are love.
This is a masterpiece. Thank you.
